Our story

We are based in Wilmslow, Cheshire and have been making soft furnishings for decades. We decided a few years ago to turn a passion for creating custom-made homewares into a full-time business and Milly & Monty Bespoke Lampshades was duly born.

The business is named after a couple of beautiful hounds; our old black Labrador Milly and her very best friend, Monty the Labradoodle.

The whole ethos of Milly & Monty is ‘customer first’. One-of-a-kind Lampshades, Cushions and soft furnishings are designed and made to your exact requirements.

We offer a specialised lampshade restoration service, recovering, revamping and refurbishing old, tired or damaged lampshades.

New lampshade frames can be made to replace/replicate an existing frame or to create a brand new design.

A small stock of fabric is kept and fabric can be sourced on your behalf or we can recommend good local and online fabric suppliers.

If you see something you like, but you'd like a different size, shape, fabric or trim, please feel free to get in touch!

All commissions are welcome, from one small lampshade to a house full of lampshades and cushions and great care is taken with every piece.
